Had a pretty interesting week/ weekend so far.  First off my cousins came down from Texas for fathers day which we celebrated on Saturday.. OH MAN. I started drinking at the bar at 11am and did stop until we came home from Anita K's graduation party.  I was still gone the next morning... I couldnt even drive. Anyways.. It was amazing seeing Anita and Arlen and the others at the party.  I shot Arra malek and Pebbles Dangerfield this week so far.. and I have a Shoot with Jenny Lynn coming this Thursday.

Photo Tip: Dont be scared to experiment. Even if you think you are shooting the worst image ever, just keep shooting. Learn from your mistakes and keep going; you never know what you will get out of a shot until you take it!

I can seriously listen to this band forever. The music is so catchy and full of life. Definitely a favorite.

 

I was asked give some tips on event photography.  Here are some.

1. GET PAID

2. Take alot of photos. Even if they are bad angles or catching someone off guard. They make the best images for event photography.

3. Be careful if people are drinking around you. People that are drunk tend to spill their drinks on you in tight spaces.

4. USE a FLASH!

5. The only editing you should do for event photography is adding your "TAG".

 

So who is going to see Transformers 2 ? I grew up with the toys and the cartoon and I am obsessed with Transformers. However!!!!! The only bad thing about the movies is the cast. I believe there are more talented actors to play the major roles besides the transformers..

I got up like 3 times to get tissue paper withn 4 minutes. Like. WTF. Anyways, I have 3 shoots this upcoming weekend. Whoop whoop, and its my last week of school and Im out for summer.  All I have left is a final for my perspective drawing class. AWE its so boring, but very useful in what I want to do. Woop Woop. I decided to finally do some typing and tell alittle about myself and things around me.  I got tired of just uploading millions (not really) of photos I shoot and retouch... This is probably the most typing I do outside of Tagging my photos or emailing clients. Haha.


This week has been fairly tedious and long. Its ONLY Wednesday! Damn. I have two more weeks of classes and I am booked with shoots on my days off.  I still have 2 sets of photos to edit. One of Loriel Andrea and one of Jenny Lynn.  I have upcoming shoots both Friday and Saturday so far. Whew hopefully they turn out great :].

Photo Tip : When shooting a live object or non-living object.. shoot the subject, then go in for a tighter more closer shot and try to fill the frame. You will feel that the closer  picture is more satisfying to your eyes.
